Middlesex County College EOF Student Receives Arrigo O. Roger Scholarship

Ali Hussain received the Arrigo O. Rogers Scholarship. This award, established in remembrance of Arrigo O. Rogers, a graduate of the EOF program and an exceptional leader, is given to students enrolled in the EOF program who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and ability and have a proven commitment to serving others. This commitment is evidenced by assuming leadership roles in their student communities and their dedication to community service and civic engagement.

In addition, Five Middlesex County College students in the Educational Opportunity Fund program attended The Alliance of Educational Opportunity Fund Students of New Jersey (AESNJ) and the Educational Opportunity Fund Professional Association of New Jersey (EOFPANJ) fall leadership conference at William Paterson University in November. The conference provides a professional development series for students and professional staff. Workshop presentations are insightful, thought-provoking, and address a multitude of topics that assist in the academic, personal, and professional development of participants.
