During the 2015-2016 academic year, 8 more prestigious scholarships have been established. At this time, more than $765,000 in scholarships has been awarded to more than 600 deserving MCC students. That means it’s more important than ever to submit your online application.

Alfredo and Antoinette Donato Endowed Scholarship The Alfredo and Antoinette Donato Endowed Scholarship was established in 2015 with a contribution from their daughter, Linda Donato Kennedy, a valued alumna of the Class of 1972. Alfredo and Antoinette made their home in Edison and for many years, Alfredo's route as a mail carrier included the Edison campus. Ann Goodwin Memorial Annual Scholarship In March 2015, The Ann Goodwin Memorial Annual Scholarship was established from donated funds received from corporations and individuals including friends, members of the faculty, staff and the student Dental Hygiene Club at MCC. This scholarship is a tribute in memory of Professor Goodwin. Ann was an esteemed member of the dental hygiene community where she was regarded as an expert in clinical dental hygiene, oral pathology and education. She held positions at New York University, Fairleigh Dickinson University as well as her alma mater, Middlesex County College. Having touched many lives as an educator, this scholarship will honor Ann's memory and commitment to the field of dental hygiene in a tangible way. Beginning with the spring 2016 semester, one scholarship award of $1,000 will be given in each of the fall and spring semesters to a student who is enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Josephine Zifchak Memorial Annual Scholarship This scholarship is a tribute in memory of Josephine Zipchak who resided on campus for 29 years with her beloved husband, Robert, the College's Athletic Director. The couple made their home at 111 Hof Road, raising six children: Robert, Christopher, Janet, Lauren, Gerard and Joseph. Born Josephine Dippolito and raised in Queens, New York, she taught elementary school in New York City and served as a substitute teacher in Edison. In addition, Josephine taught algebra at MCC and was employed in the College's bookstore. Josephine passed away on June 11, 2015 and was predeceased by her son, Joseph. Education Full-time 3.00
Julia B. Krisza Memorial Scholarship The Julia B. Krisza Memorial Scholarship was established in July 2015 by Mrs. Krisza’s daughter-in-law, Denise Krisza, an employee in the MCC Department of Radiography, along with her husband, Michael Krisza, valued members of the Middlesex County community. The scholarship honors the memory of Julia Krisza who passed away on June 15, 2015. Mrs. Krisza was a proud mother and with her husband, Charles, owner of Krisza Hardware store in Edison. STEPHEN -PETE- DALINA MEMORIAL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP The Stephen “Pete” Dalina Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2015 as a tribute to the life of Middlesex County Freeholder, Stephen ‘Pete’ Dalina, a beloved county and community leader who passed away on October 5, 2013. Freeholder Dalina dedicated his life to the people of Middlesex County, providing outstanding public service for over 50 years on the Woodbridge Township Council, the Board of Chosen Freeholders, and as chief of Fords Fire Company. In addition, he served on the Woodbridge Township Youth Association and on the Executive Board of St. Joseph’s High School, Metuchen. A talented athlete, Freeholder Dalina played football at Woodbridge High School and Villanova University.
